Donation/Bequest
Your donations and other support are used for a variety of concert activities, including the Gunma Symphony Orchestra's mobile music classes and Subscription Concerts.

Donations are always accepted from individuals and corporations. For details, please contact the Group Symphony Orchestra Office.
You can donate using the ticket purchase system.
Please proceed from the donation reception section of the concert list and complete the procedures.
If you would like to make a donation by bank transfer, please contact the Group Symphony Orchestra Office. We will send you a transfer request form specifically for donations.
When you donate, you will receive the following tax benefits:
We apologize for the inconvenience, but as soon as the certificate (donation receipt certificate) is ready, it will be mailed to the address of the donor (if the donation is made by credit card). (Please note that it may take approximately two months for the item to be shipped.)
Donations made by individuals are deducted from taxes or income as a deduction from income tax. You can choose whichever is more advantageous when filing your tax return.
《Income tax deduction》
① In case of tax deduction
The amount calculated using the following formula can be deducted from your income tax amount.
Tax deduction amount = (total donation amount – 2,000 yen) x 40%
*The tax deduction amount is limited to 25% of the income tax amount.
The total amount of donations is limited to 40% of the total income.
②In the case of income deduction
The amount calculated using the following formula can be deducted from your income.
Income deduction amount = total donation amount – 2,000 yen
Additionally, if you live in Gunma Prefecture, personal residence tax is also eligible for tax deduction.
For procedures and details, please contact your local tax office, prefecture, municipality, etc.
A will is the act of distributing one's assets to specific people or organizations after death. We will receive your support by designating Gunma Symphony Orchestra as the recipient.
Gunkyo has entered into a partnership agreement regarding bequests with Gunma Bank. After obtaining the consent of the person wishing to make a bequest, we will introduce them to you, so please contact the Gunkyo Secretariat first.
*The Gunma Symphony Orchestra is certified as a public interest incorporated foundation, so donations to the orchestra can receive preferential tax treatment. Also, bequests of property are not subject to inheritance tax.
