We asked Toshiki Shiotsuka, the principal bassoonist who joined the orchestra in November 2025, about his impressions after six months with the orchestra.

I joined the team on November 1st of last year, so it's been six months now.
The joy of being able to perform in an orchestra is irreplaceable to me, and I am truly happy and grateful to be able to spend my days with such a wonderful orchestra as the Gunma Symphony Orchestra.

To everyone at the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, to our audience who love the orchestra, and to everyone who cherishes the joy of being able to live with music, I will continue to strive to deliver even better music in the future.
