The Gunma Symphony Orchestra has developed a wide range of musical activities, including regular concerts and traveling music classes, and is widely supported by the citizens of Gunma Prefecture as a symbol of its culture. It celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2020.
In addition, we have moved our base of activities to the Takasaki City Theatre, which opened in September 2019, and are aiming to further advance and improve our performance activities under the direction of Norichika Iimori, who will be appointed as permanent conductor in April 9.
Support
In order to maintain and operate the orchestra in a stable manner and develop its performance activities, it is essential to strengthen the financial base. We ask for your understanding of Gunkyo's activities and for your warm support.
Ticket
Gunma Symphony Orchestra concert tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or through the play guide.
You can also use subscription membership, which is cheaper than purchasing a single ticket.
